LET'S CREATE: Empowerment & Money Mindset
Updated: Jul 13
An empowering video on money mindset that is truly authentic and relatable. This provides a fresh perspective on money and female empowerment.
I found this great video that I feel so many more could really benefit from hearing. To be honest I have found a few that I have sent to people directly here and there.
I am an inspiration-consumer junkie; so admittedly listen to podcasts and watch many videos with regards to personal development, spiritual guidance, entrepreneurship, general success stories and of course Oprah… because, well, it’s Oprah. I love meeting people and hearing their story and conversing on a deep discussion level. I love to find out how they have become and what experiences have lead them to be. Sometimes, I feel as though I could be an interviewer… perhaps one day.
I have often had this push-pull relationship with caring about how others view me and not giving a damn about what others think. Generally I am a confident person, but I am also human and sure do have those self-doubt moments that ultimately affect my confidence.
I have been so many people’s cheerleaders and wing-woman in the background. I have encouraged them to do what they do best and put themselves out there. I have witnessed their courage, ability to be vulnerable and not shy to the world. So much so, that I have ultimately been hiding myself – not intentionally. Although in the same breath, I feel honoured to have been able to empower people around me who go out and are able to create great impact in this world. I always see so much potential in others, but fail to give myself enough credit – even when I know my own worth and the value that I bring to the table. I have always preferred to keep my conversations at discussion level with people compared to public messages. At least that is where I feel most comfortable.
Writing this down, does make it seem crazy and super selfish, but I guess in my mind it's more of a guarded place that I keep private. I also find the line between confidence and arrogance to be rather fine and never want to come across as a know-it-all; because I am always the first to admit that I DO NOT know it all. I try my best to learn as much as possible on a subject, but there is no guru who knows everything there is to know on any particular subject, as it is always evolving. What we can do, is learn the principles and apply them to all seasons of life, and gain more experience as we go. That is true knowledge – my dad calls it the University of Life. That’s where, I believe, all theory-related principles are cemented with the practical examples we experience in our daily lives.
Ok, so now that you have a slight background, back to this video. I found this super relatable as it touched on so many points and hit home on so much that I have been thinking over for a while. It is also SUPER authentic which I LOVE. I am a spiritually connected soul and believe the timing of this for me, couldn't have been any greater; which is why it has pushed me to ultimately write my first blog post.
